“Capturing the Pollutants in Initial Rainwater!”
The initial rainfall that comes first during a rainstorm mixes with pollutants in urban areas, which is referred to as initial rainwater.
This is the Jinju Nabulcheon discharge point. Depending on the rainfall, the water barrier automatically opens and closes. In this way, the initial rainwater trapped in over 40 discharge points along the Namgang River is sent to the sewage treatment plant, while only the clean rainwater is added to the Namgang River.
